AFGHANISTAN was taken very lightly before the start of the current series against them. But the Afghans have made the series hard for the Tigers and now the Tigers must win the 3rd ODI to avoid a embarrassing series defeat against the cricket minnows. Bangladeshi supporters were shocked to see their team going down against the Afghans in their own backyard. The spinners of Afghanistan made batting difficult for the Bangladeshi batsmen and it was painful to see Bangladesh making paltry 208 against them. Shakib took four wickets but the tailenders of Afghanistan held their nerves till the end and achieved a well deserved victory.
Now the Tigers must win the final match to take the series. Suddenly the Bangladesh-Afghanistan series has come to life and is drawing more attention of the cricket lovers. The Tigers will face Afghanistan in the final match at Mirpur National Cricket Stadium on October 1.  I hope the Tigers will play their natural game as the pressure is now on them.  I am sure if the Tigers keep their basics right, they will come on top in the final ODI against the visiting team. The nation is waiting for the Tigers to roar in the upcoming 3rd ODI against Afghanistan.
