The government is likely to take action against the officials who questioned the rationale of recent mass promotion in the civil service ignoring the cases of many deserving civil servants.
The inquiry committee headed by a joint secretary of the Establishment Ministry has submitted its report against the officials who lodged protest for overlooking their cases in the mass promotion.
