Coal policy will be formulated during the tenure of the present caretaker government although the extraction method will be determined by experts, said Chief Adviser’s special assistant for Energy and Power Prof M Tamim yesterday.
“The government will not determine the method of coal extraction, Rather, the experts will determine how coal will be extracted,” he told reporters at a workshop organized for North Bengal Mineral Resources Reporters Forum by the Weekly Economic Times at the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) auditorium in the city.
