Army Chief General Moeen U Ahmed yesterday said the army does not want to see Bangladesh anymore as a poor country.
“This is our effort for development, on behalf of the army, through which development will be possible in every area,” he said at the inaugural function of a small-scale dairy farm project near Shafipur Union Parisad in Begumganj upazila.
Addressing the function as chief guest, Gen Moeen urged all to shun the path of violence and together take the country towards the path of development.
He mentioned that five disasters took place in the country last year. [Read more]
