DHAKA (Reuters) - Bangladesh said on Friday it was considering atomic energy as an alternative source to meet the growing shortfall of electricity output in the country.
The power shortfall has soared to 1,500 megawatt (mw), as the state Power Development Board has said the country can produce at best 3,000 mw against demand of about 5,000 mw. [Read more]
