BGB detains hundi trader suspect

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a suspected hundi trader with Tk 4.5 lakhs at Putkhali Mosjidbari area of Jessore district on Thursday evening.
The arrested was identified as Firoz Ahmed, 19, son of Abdul Lotif, a resident of Putkhali area of Sharsha Upazila.
Subedar Abul Hossain, company commander of Putkhali Camp, said BGB men conducted a drive at Putkhali acting on secret information that Firoz Mahmud was smuggling huge amount of money through hundi.
During the drive, the BGB members arrested Firoz from Putkhali Mosjidbari area and confiscated the money after searching his body.
