A fire broke out at a building of Renata Ltd, a pharmaceutical company, in city's Mirpur area on Saturday. Fire Service and Civil Defence central control room duty officer Enayet Hossain told the FE that the fire broke out around 4:40 pm at a building inside Renata Park (drug manufacturing facility) at Mirpur-7. Seven firefighting units were trying to douse the flame, he said, adding that they were yet to find out the cause of the fire. No causalities have been reported till the filing of this report at 6:20 pm.
