Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Wednesday sought co-operation from all concerned, especially the print and electronic media, to make the 11th South Asian Games Dhaka 2010 a grand success.
The eight-nation meet-the biggest sports carnival of South Asia-involving Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be held in Dhaka and five other divisional headquarters from January 29-February 9 next year.
The Finance Minister, also the Chairman of South Asian Games Organizing Committee, made his appeal for cooperation while exchanging views with the print and electronic media chiefs at Hotel Sheraton Wednesday afternoon. [Read more]
