Power Development Board (PDB) will install a wind based power plant having electricity generation capacity of 100MW.
The PDB has proposed coastal belt area Anwara and Kutubdia in Chittagong to install the power plant. However, the PDB also placed a separate proposal to install four separate solar power plants having capacity between 10MW and 25MW at four separate sites.
PDB placed a proposal to install two separate solar panel based power plants having capacity between 2MW to 4MW at Rajbari and poultry firm areas in Rajshahi, 4MW to 5MW plant at Kaptai in Chittagong and 2MW to 4MW plant at Sharishabari in Jamalpur. [Read more]
