BNP Secretary General Khandaker Delwar Hossain yesterday said that the last national election could not relieve people from crisis; rather the country was passing through a critical moment.
The BNP leader accused the government of not taking effective measures to relieve people from the crises. He was addressing a press briefing at party chief Begum Khaleda Zia’s Gulsan office. “The false statements of the Prime Minister on poverty reduction, literacy rate and rice price have embarrassed us,” he said.
