Expelled BNP leader Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan has reportedly taken an initiative to organise a party of his own by uniting dissident and dissatisfied BNP leaders and workers.
According to close associates of Bhuiyan, he has already assigned leaders to organise the party and its front organisations. A group of intellectuals has also been engaged to prepare a draft constitution for the party.
However, a confidential aide of Bhuiyan mentioned it a trick to create confusion on the way of the unity move to bring all the dissident groups close ahead of the ensuing party council in December. [Read more]
