Cairn Energy, the operator of Sangu gas field, is set to start three dimensional (3D) seismic survey in Magnama under the offshore gas block 16 in between next December and February.
“Hopefully we will submit our development plan to the Petrobangla by October 15, but this winter we will do seismic survey in Magnama not in Hatia, and if we get any potential there than we will think about Hatia,” a Cairn official told BSS on Thursday.
Earlier, Cairn said they will submit their plan to Petrobangla by September 15. [Read more]
