Two persons of whom one is a businessman were killed by unidentified assailants in the city’s Tejgaon area yesterday .In another incident a suspected gangster was shot by police in Modhyo Monipur in the city yesterday, police said.
The victims were identified as Monir, a poultry businessman and another remains unidentified.
The wound in the man’s head who is at his early 40s suggests that he might have been stabbed by muggers in front of the Ganobhaban.
Local people sent the body to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead. [Read more]
