Biman to add 2 leased aircraft for hajj flight

UNB, Dhaka

Biman Bangladesh Airlines, the national flag carrier, has decided to add two leased aircraft to its fleet for carrying hajj pilgrims this year.
“Agreements to this effect will be signed with two foreign companies by this month,” a senior Biman official told UNB over phone.
One of the 747 aircraft will be taken on lease from Nigeria-based Kabo Air while another from Thailand-based Orient Thai.
The aircraft to be taken from Kabo Air will be
542-seated one while that of Orient Thai a 518-seated one. [Read more]
