The High Court is likely to deliver judgment today (Sunday) on a writ petition that challenged the validity of the past BNP-led alliance regime’s action introducing Maj Ziaur Rahman over three decades as the proclaimer of Bangladesh’s independence.
Advocate Manzill Murshid, counsel for the writ petitioner, told UNB about

the possible verdict after browsing Sunday’s HC cause list.
A chapter was interpolated into the History of Bangladesh War of Liberation through its June 2004 edition on a new thought that Maj Ziaur Rahman made the declaration of independence on March 26, 1971. [Read more]
