Country’s interest will get priority while rebuilding BDR: DG

UNB, Rangpur

Director General of Bangladesh Rifles Major General Mainul Islam on Friday said the interest of the country will get the highest priority while rebuilding BDR.
“The investigation into the BDR carnage in Peelkhana is going on. Those, who are involved in the mutiny in different units outside Dhaka, will be arrested.” he said while addressing reporters at BDR sector in the district.
The DG said those who revolted after the announcement of general amnesty will not come under it, adding “Those who had allegations of massacre and looting during the carnage in Peelkhana will not also come under the general amnesty. [Read more]
