The BDR personnel, who fled the camps across the country on the heels of BDR carnage at Peelkhana in late February, are stated to be regrouping along with some militant groups in the border belt of West Bengal.
The militant Islamic groups reportedly have thrown their full weight behind the runaway BDR members to motivate them to destabilise the country. At least 12 militant outfits in the country were blacklisted by the government recently. The disgruntled members of the banned organisations are now seeking to take the fugitive BDR members into their fold to carry out subversive activities. [Read more]
