Mayor of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC), Sadeque Hossain Khoka and MPs from Dhaka expressed willingness to cooperate with each other for a better and livable capital at a view exchange meeting yesterday.
“The work of DCC is not worthwhile. The officials of DCC do not keep contact with the MPs. If they keep contact with us it would be easier to address local problems,” State Minister for Local Government and Rural Development (LGRD) Jahangir Kabir Nanak said.
The State Minister said corruption in the activities of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) could be reduced if accountability was ensured locally. [Read more]
