The government will start the second phase of Test Relief (TR) Programme next month, a senior officer of the Food Ministry said yesterday.
A total of 70,67,500 extreme poor will be benefited under the programme.
He said that the ministry has allocated 70,000 tonnes of foodgrains for second phase TR programme. The fund for the second phase of the TR programme will be made available by diverting a portion of amount earlier sanctioned for the implementation of the second phase of the 100-day employment generation programme.
