Amar Ekushey today: Nation pays homage to language martyrs today

The nation is set to observe Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day today paying glowing tributes to the language martyrs.
Hundreds of thousands of people in barefoot will pay homage to the Language Movement martyrs of 1952 in Dhaka since early hours of the day.
President Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will lead the nation in commemorating the martyrdom of the 1952 Language Movement heroes. [Read more]
