A lawyer yesterday moved an petition before the Chamber Judge of the Supreme Court seeking permission to have a High Court order overturned that asked the government to reinstate 10 unconfirmed additional judges as regular judges of the High Court.
Supreme Court lawyer Ashrafuzzaman submitted the petition moved by senior Advocate TH Khan.
After a brief hearing, Chamber Judge Justice MA Matin referred the petition to the full bench of the Appellate Division for hearing on July 29. [Read more]
