The term of the incumbent Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor, Prof SMA Faiz has been extended until the Senate of the University proposes names of a three-member VC panel.
The four-year term of Prof Faiz ends on May 29.
The President and Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Iajuddin Ahmed in a notification yesterday asked the incumbent Vice-Chancellor to run the academic and administrative activities of the University in a peaceful manner on a temporary basis. [Read more]
