Three people were killed and six others injured when a truck collided with a train at a rail crossing at Maijhati under Gafargaon upazila yesterday.
Local people said the goods laden truck was coming towards Gafargaon from Mymensingh.
The dead were identified as Atikul (35), Mintu (38) and an unknown man (30).
The injured are truck driver Imran Mia (40), Hares Ali (40), driver of the commuter train Nasir Chand (42), Fireman Shahinur Islam (30) TT Tajul Islam (25) and passenger Alam (9).
The injured persons were admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. [Read more]
