Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof SMA Faiz met President Prof Dr Iajuddin Ahmed yesterday to discuss about the possible release of the detained teachers.
DU VC told the journalists that the President was keen to see a solution of the teachers` issue, which will be honourable and acceptable to all sides.
The teachers will be freed after completion of the legal process, the VC hoped.
Seeking anonymity, a teacher said the detained teachers might return to the campus before resumption of the classes on January 8. [Read more]
