Expressing concern over the price-hike of essentials, Army Chief General Moeen U Ahmed yesterday made a clarion call to all irrespective of party and opinion to come forward to control price spiral, particularly of rice.
General Moeen made the appeal through journalists against the backdrop of abnormal price-hike of rice in the country in last few days.
“We are very much concerned about present price hike of rice and edible oil and we are continuing efforts to arrest it. I have personally discussed with the Chief Adviser on how to control it,” he said.
