Plight of employment seekers-2: Collecting money from job seekers Govt no exception

The government, which is the guardian of citizens’ right, has emerged as the “major deceiver” as most of the government and semi-government offices are collecting huge revenue from unemployed and helpless youths promising them to offer jobs.
However the government agencies have failed most frequently to provide them with jobs. The very direction of the country’s constitution in this regard is also being flouted frequently.
The Article 15 of the constitution of Bangladesh has made it “a fundamental responsibility of the State” to the citizens to ensure “the right to work, that is the right to guaranteed employment at a reasonable wage having regard to the quantity and quality of work. [Read more]
