DHAKA, May 25: With Bangladesh’s decision to put India in to bat in the second cricket Test backfiring, the hosts’ coach Dav Whatmrore on Friday admitted that his side had misread the wicket at the Sher-Bangla stadium.

“There is a reason to regret. Obviously, if we would have known that the wicket was going to behave like that then we would not have elected to field first… Yes, we misread (the wicket),” Whatmore said after the opening day’s play. [Read more]
