7500 people HIV infected in Bangladesh by ittefaq.com
Some 71 per cent day labourers, 67 per cent rickshaw-pullers and 61 per cent truck drivers in Dhaka have no proper knowledge about HIV/AIDS. According to the Government statistics, an estimated 7,500 people are HIV infected, 874 are HIV positive and 240 developed AIDS. A total of 109 people died of AIDS in the country. [Read more]
