Police in a drive arrested three people along with several rocket launchers, 66 riffles and huge explosives from Purbachal area of Rupganj in Narayanganj on Thursday.
Additional Police Super of the district, Mustafizur Rahman said, being tipped-off, a team of police conducted the drive in the area on Thursday night and arrested three people.
Later, following their information, police recovered the arms and explosives from the area, he added.
Mustafiz said, "The process of counting arms and ammunition is also continuing."
"At the end of the counting, it would be possible to say about the exact number of arms and ammunition."
The identities of the arrestees are yet to be known while the drive is still underway, he continued.
