SL set 139 target for India

Defending champions Sri Lanka scored a moderate 138 for 9 in stipulated 20 overs against India in the five-nation Asia Cup Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Sent to bat first, Sri Lanka faced an early jolt losing 4 wickets for 57 runs in 11 overs.
Ashish Nehra made the first breakthrough in the Sri Lanka innings removing opener Dinesh Chandimal (4) for six runs in 2.2 overs. He was caught by MS Dhoni behind the wicket.
The batting misery deepened when Bumrah removed one down Jayasuriya (3) at 15 runs for 2 in 3.4 overs.
Opener TM Dilshan and departed at 31/3 in 6.1 overs scoring 18 runs and captain AD Mathews got out at 57/4 in 11 overs scoring 18 runs.
After the departure of four top order batmen cheaply, number five batsman CK Kapugedera stayed in the crease for sometime and contributed team highest 30 runs off 32 balls featuring three boundaries.
