Iraqi police say gunmen have seized a senior Sunni Baghdad politician.
Police say Riyadh al-Adhadah, a medical doctor and the head of the Baghdad Provincial Council, was taken away late Friday by armed men traveling in 10 black SUVs.
It was not immediately clear whether Adhadah was arrested by security forces or abducted.
Adhadah had been imprisoned on terrorism charges in 2012.
