Israel says it has shot down a suspected Hezbollah drone.
An Israeli military spokesman said the unmanned aircraft was detected as it was flying over Lebanon and tracked as it approached northern Israel.
He said the military waited for the drone to enter Israeli airspace, and that an Israeli F-16 warplane shot it down after confirming the aircraft did not belong to friendly forces.
It was not immediately clear whether the drone was armed.
