British police say the death of exiled Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky was “consistent with hanging.”

Berezovsky was found dead in a home west of London Saturday.

Police had already said no third party was involved in his death and a medical examiner said there was no sign of a violent struggle. Berezovsky left no suicide note and the reason he apparently took his own life is a mystery.
