Another Tibetan monk is reported dead after setting himself on fire to protest China’s policy in Tibet.
Tibetans in exile in Dharamsala, India, say that 28-year-old Lobsang Thokmey died Saturday afternoon local time in Amdo region of Sichuan province.
An exiled Tibetan tells VOA Tibetan Service that the monk poured gasoline over himself outside his monastery and set himself on fire. Fellow monks rushed him to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
