Blasts Rock Mogadishu Restaurant

Two explosions rocked a restaurant in Somalia’s capital Friday, killing at least one person and wounding at least seven others.

A local journalist said in an interview with VOA’s Somali Service the explosions occurred at a popular eating spot on Mogadishu’s Lido beach called Indian Ocean.
She said an explosion at the entrance was followed by another blast set off by a suicide bomber.
