Hartal call irrational

UNB, Dhaka

Ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance yesterday called upon BNP to withdraw its countrywide hartal today.

The coordination committee of the alliance meeting in the afternoon urged BNP not to enforce the hartal affecting the poor and national economy. The meeting was held at AL president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Dhanmondi office.
