কক্সবাজারের উখিয়ায় অতি দরিদ্রদের জন্য কর্মসংস্থান কর্মসূচির ২১টি প্রকল্পের ব্যাপক অনিয়ম ও দুর্নীতি করা হচ্ছে। কাজ বন্ধ রেখে এবং অনুপস্থিত শ্রমিকদের উপস্থিত দেখিয়ে ব্যাংক থেকে টাকা উঠিয়ে প্রকল্পের সভাপতি ও সদস্যরা সেই টাকা আত্মসাৎ করছেন। এ ছাড়া একই পরিবারের একাধিক সদস্যের নাম দিয়ে একজনের টাকা হাতিয়ে নেওয়ারও অভিযোগ পাওয়া গেছে।
