Outgoing Ambassador of European Union (EU) Dr Stefan Frowein said at the meet-the-reporters at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) yesterday that the EU had no role in 1/11 though a section of media believes it to be so. He rejected a section of media’s beliefe that the EU did pull the string behind the certain in creating the 1/11.
“We tried until the last minute to get this two political groups (one is 14 parties alliance and other four parties alliance) to come to a dialogue - but the impasse continued till the declaration of state of emergency,” he said. [Read More]
