Four mutineers of Bangladesh Rifles has apologised before the Special Court-8 and begged for mercy, citing that they are the only earning members of their families.
Accused soldier Sharif Jahangir Alam on Wednesday admitted his fault in the court at Peelkhana headquarters and said his father is deaf and he is the only earning person among seven members of his family. He has been serving in the BDR for eight years.
“I had to go out from the Darbar Hall on Feb 25, 2009 as I was pushed by the mob,” he said. [Read More]
