100 police sent to Hatiya

About 100 police personnel were sent to the remote areas of Hatiya in Noakhali after being informed about the massacre by a forest gang, reports bdnews24.com.
Noakhali police superintendent Harunur Rashid Hazari said, “We have launched a drive to arrest those attempting to create panic amongst the people.”
Hazari on Sunday said, “At least 100 police personnel in four groups, led by Noakhali additional police superintendent Mahbubur Rashid, have been sent to the area.” He also said Rapid Action Battalion will join the drive soon. [Read More]
