The six-day long stalemate in Chittagong seaport is gradually normalising from Wednesday evening.
Port resumed partial operation with the deployment of army on Wednesday. But full operations resumed in 12 berths from yesterday with the supervision of army personnel, port sources said.
Another 11 workers were rounded up yesterday raising the total number of arrest to 40. They were arrested for their alleged involvement with the violation of section 144 and clash with the police on Wednesday, police said. [Read More]
