Rescuers yesterday traced out the sunken bus under deep water more than 25 hours after it had plunged into a ditch Sunday morning at Salehpur near Amin Bazar on Dhaka-Aricha highway with about 50 passengers.
The rescuers recovered a body from the bus taking the proven death toll to two while they are yet to salvage the bus although rescue operation was going on till this report was filed at around 9 pm.
The authorities have brought 40 coffins to carry the bodies of bus passengers who are yet to be recovered. [Read More]
