A splendid 127-run partnership by openers Shahriar Nafees and Imrul Kayes enabled Bangladesh to earn an emphatic seven-wicket victory over the touring New Zealand in the third One Day International (ODI) match of the Micromax Cup at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Monday.
Bangladesh have now 2-0 lead in the five-match ODI series.
Earlier, the Tigers composed a nine-run victory over the Kiwis in the first ODI on October 5 at the same venue while the second ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand was abandoned due to inclement weather on October 8. [Read More]
