Dean election of all the 10 faculties of Dhaka University (DU) was held yesterday on the University campus.
In this prestigious election, Blue Panel, the platform of the pro-government teachers of the University, won in six faculties and the White Panel, platform of BNP supporter teachers won in the rest four.
Those who have been elected Deans of different faculties from Blue Panel are: Prof Dr Yousuf Ali Mollah in the Faculty of Science, Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof Dr Shahid Akhter Hossain in the Faculty of Biological Sciences, Prof Emdadul Huq Md Matlub Ali in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof Dr Nasreen Ahmad in the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Prof Dr Ahmed Ismail Mustafa in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
