Labour and Employment Minister Engineer Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain on Thursday came down heavily on the role of some Non- Government Organizations (NGOs) for their alleged involvement in instigating unrest in the country’s readymade garments (RMG) sector.
The Minister while addressing at a BGMEA function said the government won’t sit with NGOs for discussing the rights of RMG workers because they (NGOs) are not proper negotiating body.
He also called the workers not to be influenced by NGOs who try to misguide the section of apparels workers to get their own benefits. [Read More]
