Unidentified criminals slaughtered three members of a family at their Shaheed Faruk Road residence at Jatrabari in the capital yesterday.
The victims were identified as businessman Mizanur Rahman, 55, his mother Sufia Khatun, 75, and his wife Bithi Rahman, 40.
Among the victims, Sufia and Bithi died on the spot while Mizan succumbed to his injuries at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at about 11:00 am.
The incident took place on the second floor of a four-storey building at Shaheed Faruk Road under Jatrabari police station over family feud, police suspected. [Read More]
