2 senior Appellate Division Judges on leave

Two senior judges of the Supreme Court have gone on leave. They were superseded while appointing the new Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque.
According to sources, Justice Md Abdul Matin, the senior most judge of the Appellate Division has sought leave of absence up to December 25. He is scheduled to retire on December 26. Justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman, the second senior most judge has also sought leave of absence up to January 27. His length of service extends up to 18 November, 2011.
