A rickshaw puller alleged to have stolen an energy-saving bulb has died in police custody.
Md Idris, 35-year old father of two children died on Sunday. He had been picked up on Sep 14 and taken to Bayozid Police Station, according to his mother.
Nurjahan Begum, the mother, said the police had called her to go to see her son. Day before yesterday, I found him bloody with injuries all over his body.
