Demands level playing field : REHAB for omitting criminal procedure from housing bill

Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) leaders yesterday demanded review of the just passed Real Estate Development and Management Bill-2009 to omit the scope of criminal procedure.
Addressing a press conference at a city hotel REHAB acting president Sultana Shaheda Islam urged the government to change the discriminatory provisions of the law.
She advocated for penalising the realtors for breaching the law instead of awarding them jail term. [Read More]
