The people who were killed by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in the border areas were criminals, BSF Director General (DG) Raman Srivastava said yesterday.
The BSF DG made the remarks at a press briefing after the concluding session of a six-day-long top-level BDR-BSF conference held at the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) headquarters at Peelkhana in the city.
Srivastava also claimed that 50 percent victims of the border incidents were Indian nationals and the BSF troops opened fire after seeing no alternative. [Read More]
